Solitaire & Triangle Peg Jump Games
Another two-in-one game board: Peg Jump & Solitaire
Triangle Peg Jump
With 6 holes wide and 6 high, Triangle Peg Jump is a more difficult version of the 5 x 5 version of this game that Cracker Barrel diners are familiar with. The goal is to start with pegs in all but one of the holes (doesn’t matter which one), and strategically make successive jumps so that only one peg remains on the board.
Solitaire
A wooden version of the Milton Bradley “Hi-Q” game popular in the 1960’s. The basic puzzle is to start with all holes filled with a peg except for an empty hole in the center of the board. Like the Triangle Peg game, the object is to jump one peg over another until only one peg remains, ideally in the center of the board. But… if you really want to get into this game, there are websites and books written about an incredible number of alternative games that can be played on this board. The more into math you are, the more hours you can spend with this game.
